What To Do After Receiving A DUI?

Arizona is one of the more strict states in the country when it comes to prosecuting DUI charges. If this is your first time receiving a DUI, it is most likely going to be a misdemeanor charge. Those charges can be escalated to a felony charge depending on your BAC, if you were driving on a suspended or revoked license, or if someone was injured or killed in an accident while driving under the influence. The most important thing you can do after receiving a DUI is to contact a DUI attorney and don’t speak to the police about anything. Your attorney will handle all communications with the prosecutor and will help you keep your license while going through this process.
